Agorsor band and AMVCA Best Documentary Nominee, to screen in Ghana for #AmfestAccra

 

 

The role of African Women, towards the the continents growth in Creative Business, can not be underestimated. With few platforms to discuss and celebrate these contributions, AMFEST expo has announced a daylong event in Ghana.

The Pan-African expo had it’s event in Nigeria feature Ghanaian Dance hall Star Epixode and star Nigerian DJ JimmyJatt, last year. With events planned this year for Kigali and Johannesburg, Kayode Adebayo Media will be making a first stop at the Impact Hub in Osu.

On 15th June, the event will witness exhibitions and conferences in Music, Film, Fashion, Food, Art and Tech.

With a food-tech showcase curated by Homechow Food App and Art exhibition by Nyornuwofia Agorsor, Amfest Accra is set to celebrate all aspects of the creative lifestyle and the role of Women.  

Besides seasoned panelists from Nigeria, who will lead a Pan-African discussion, Amfest is also set to feature Aderemi Davies. The AMVCA nominee for best documentary, will screen his award winning works at the Ghanaian event. Also screening will be Parables Studios, producers of Ghana’s first animated feature film.
