Presidential Candidate of the All People’s Congress (APC) Hassan Ayariga says all those who have lost hope in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) should not look elsewhere but his party for another hope.
“APC is the only alternative to the NPP and NDC and not any other political party.”
Mr Ayariga said this on Monday, July 11 on Day 1 of his ‘Come on Board’ tour.
Themed ‘Come on Board, Let’s Safeguard our Birthright and Build Ghana Together’, the tour is expected to take Mr Ayariga and his delegation to every region of the country.
Day 1 saw the 2012 Presidential Candidate of the People’s National Convention (PNC) touring the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, where it starts.
He paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Kwabenya, Nii Kwao Obuabasa, and his elders.
At the Kwabenya chief’s palace, Mr Ayariga asked Nii Obuabas and his elders to give him the mandate in 2016 so he can give the country hope.
“When people lose hope they go for a new system but a new system is not NPP, the new person is not NDC, the new person is APC.”
From the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency, Mr Ayariga proceeded to the Adentan Constituency.
There he called on the chief, Nii Doblo.
“The only way this country can move, the only way this country can strive and can achieve economic transformation is when we begin to see each other as one nation, one people with one common destiny,” he told the gathering.
The Greater Accra Region tour is scheduled to end on Friday, July 15 after which the APC campaign team will move to the Eastern Region.
