Ghanaian footballer, Asamoah Gyan has hinted at his plans to
distribute hand sanitizers, face masks and other health products to
the people of Accra to help curb the spread of coronavirus.
The former Black Stars captain also called on sports personalities and
celebrities to help Ghanaians fight against coronavirus which
continues to spread in the country and globally.
In a social media post sighted by kwasiaboagyelive.com Baby Jet as he
is widely known said, “As an icon, people look up to me. I urge all
celebrities, all those who are fortunate, let’s give back to the
community because this is the time that people need up. People need
our support.”
He added: “Let’s do this to help the government because the government
cannot do this alone. We can’t depend on the government, these are our
lives. We have to protect one another, we have to stick together.
“Let’s take precaution, stay at home, use hand sanitizers, let’s do
everything to protect ourselves.”
