Madam Miriam Afful, the ex-wife of Pastor Emmanuel Kwaku Apraku popularly known as “Apraku my daughter” has said her husband didn’t die of hunger like people have speculated.
In a phone interview with Kwasi Aboagye on Peace FM’s Entertainment Review show where she addressed number of issues concerning her ex husband, Madam Miriam Afful said he had access to food.
According to her, Apraku used to eat at her house especially during the lockdown.
She added that about two weeks ago, people made a cash donation to him so he had about GHS2,000 on him so she doesn’t believe he died of hunger.
Madam Afful also confirmed that Rev Obofour gave Apraku a car and money to rent a place. She said he rented a place on the Spintex Road but later told her he couldn’t live in that house because it flooded anytime it rained.
Madam Miriam Afful said she was hurt and very sad about Apraku’s death because she saw him as a brother and friend after they divorced.
She stated that they had been divorced for over 15 years and had three children; two females and a male.
When Kwasi Aboagye asked her what advice she gave Apraku that he didn’t heed, she said it concerned their marriage but she didn’t want to talk about it.
Madam Miriam Afful revealed that she had hoped to see some change in Apraku so that they could get back together.
