Scores of residents in parts of Accra were left homeless and others stranded Thursday following nearly five hours of downpour that caused flooding in parts of the capital.
Many homes were submerged, forcing residents in those places to move to higher grounds to wait for rescue teams to get to them.
The episode, which has become an annual ritual in the country over the years, is aptly captured by our cartoonist, Tilapia, in a humorous manner using the key actors of the situation. Enjoy, share and don’t forget comment.
