The Ghana Police Service in May announced it is considering a shutdown of social media in a bid to maintain law and order on November 7 when Ghana goes to the poll to elect a president and 275 parliamentary candidates.
The move has since attracted backlash from Ghanaians who have vowed to use a workaround to access their various social media platforms should the Police carry out its threat.
