Pentecostal church Asomdwee Ne Bohye Ministry on Wednesday, September 21 marked the Founder’s Day public holiday with a march for peaceful polls come December 7.
Joining a health walk, members of the church marched through some principal streets in Haatso to Ablor-Adjei (Ashongman), where the church is located.
The walk was amidst drumming and dancing.
Themed ‘Keeping Fit For Christ’, the walk was under the auspices of the Youth Ministry.
Spiritual Leader and Founder Prophetess Cecilia Akua Awuraa called on authorities to ensure that the youth are given all the help there is as they ready to take over nation-building from the adults.
“We should not suppress the talents of the young ones,” she stated.
“We should give them the chance and guide them in honing their skills.”
Church members distributed fliers of the church to by-standers and took the opportunity to invite them to the church’s meetings.
An Elder of the Church, Robert Kwabena Boafo, admonished the youth not to allow themselves to be used by politicians to engage in violence.
He asked the nation’s leaders to also engage the youth in positive endeavours in order to elicit the best from them.
The walk ended with some aerobics at the church premises.
