The Chiefs and Elders of the Kwahu Traditional Area have cautioned
natives of the land to restrict movements in and out of the area in
following the outbreak of coronavirus.
A press release signed by the registrar of Kwahu Traditional Area, Mr.
Samuel Tuffuor which was directed by Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II,
Kwahu hene and President of the Kwahu Traditional council informed
sons and daughters who currently live outside Kwahu to endeavor to
continue to stay wherever they maybe, in the weeks to come to postpone
all planned visits to Kwahu till further notice.
The statement further advised Kwahu natives living in Kwahu should
remain in Kwahu.
“No travelling outside of Kwahu until the pandemic is contained. There
are large populations of aged in Kwahu and they are vulnerable to the
outbreak,” part of the statement read.
The Kwahu Traditional council also urged it’s natives in and outside
Kwahu to adhere to the precautionary measures to stay safe from
Covid-19.
Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong finally stated in the press release that he
loves and cherishes all his citizens and passionately appeals to them
to strictly adhere to the aforementioned suggestions.
