Deputy Finance Minister John Kumah Passes Away at 45

Deputy Finance Minister and Member of Parliament for Ejisu, John Kumah, has sadly passed away at the age of 45 after a brief illness.

Commonly known as Lawyer John Kumah, he leaves behind a wife and six children.
Renowned for his integrity and dedication to job creation, he founded Majak Associates Ltd and Aduaprokye Chambers before assuming the role of CEO at the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP). Overseeing the training of 45,000 startups and supporting 10,000 beneficiaries during his tenure, Kumah significantly contributed to youth employment nationwide. With over 17 years of leadership, he earned recognition for his efficiency and humility while actively serving the NPP since 1992.

As the founder of the Young Patriots, a youth political activist group, and a member of the NPP’s Communication Team, he played pivotal roles within the party. Additionally, he successfully secured substantial funding for various infrastructure and job creation projects, fulfilling promises to his constituents in Ejisu.
