Executive Chef Faila Abdul Razak, renowned as Chef Faila, is set to showcase her culinary expertise on the global stage at the upcoming Horticultural Expo in Qatar.
Personally invited by the Ghana Tourism Authority, she will represent Ghana at the International Horticultural Expo in Doha on March 9, 2024.
Her collaboration with a resident caterer aims to showcase the rich flavors and cultural diversity of Ghana through traditional dishes.
During the event, Chef Faila will introduce international patrons to Ghanaian delicacies and authentic beverages, including jollof rice, fried yam, kelewele, millet drink, cocoa drink, and sobolo.

March 5, Faila expressed her excitement about representing Ghana on the global stage. “Participating in the International Horticultural Expo is an incredible opportunity for me to share my passion for Ghanaian cuisine with a global audience,” she said . “I’m excited to bring my expertise and creativity to the forefront, highlighting the vibrant culinary traditions of Ghana and contributing to the success of Ghana Day at the Expo,” she added.
Faila is set to depart Ghana on March 6 for the event, scheduled to conclude on March 12.
The statement emphasizes her commitment to representing Ghana with pride and enthusiasm, noting that she will wear a specially designed ‘VisitGhana’ attire throughout the Expo.
