Musician Fameye revealed that he once sought spiritual assistance, purchasing items like handkerchiefs and oil to propel his music career. Reflecting on this during a recent appearance on Hitz FM Day Break, he mentioned, “Back then, I had one person who told me to pay some pastors for oils and handkerchiefs. I later realized that I worked hard, and I didn’t think all these I had been doing paid off at that point.”
Despite obtaining these spiritual aids from various churches, Fameye expressed doubt about their efficacy, asserting that his success was a result of hard work and faith in God.
He emphasized, “They were not working. How would I even know? Maybe, it’s now reflecting because it’s been a long time since I had gone there. Moreover, it’s only God that can come to my rescue.”
Notably, in August last year, Fameye delivered a crucial message to fellow musicians via a Facebook post, cautioning against managers who prioritize personal fame over the welfare of artists.
He advised against signing deals with such managers, describing them as ‘devils in the form of angels.’
“If you are an artiste and your manager wants to be a superstar more than you? Be careful, it’s either you signed a wrong deal or a Devil came in the form of an angel,”conveyed the post.
