The comedian was reportedly rushed to the hospital after a cardiac arrest following a kidney problem.

Her death has been correlated to the Rita Edochie and Odumeye saga, she had bad mouthed Nollywood Actress Rita Edochie and Pastor Odumeye prior leading to her illness.
News going around is Pastor Odumeye may have inflicted Ada Jesus with the disease and distracted her family from seeking early medical attention hence causing her death.
The comedian had nonetheless apologised to Rita Edochie and Pastor Odumeye for bad mouthing them when her health took the turn for the worse.
Pastor Odumeye had initially stated he will not forgive her until she puts evidence to her claims.
Although later it was reported he and Rita Edochie forgave her.
Nigerians have reacted to her death by saying she could have been saved if there was a better health care system, as the health care system is in need of improvement.
While others say her family should have opted for early medical attention instead of transferring her from church to church for miracles.
She has been battling kidney disease for months and passed on 21st April 2021.
