Newly elected president of Chad, President Idriss Deby has sustained injuries while defending the country from Rebels.
President Idriss Deby won his 6th term in the April elections. He Has been commanding his army to battle rebels in the North who wanted to overthrow his government. He died while visiting frontline troops.
President Deby, who had put his victory speech on hold to clash with rebels in North caused him to lose his life in the process.
President Deby’s son Mahammat Deby Itno, a five star general would replace him and head the Military Council.
President Idriss Deby ruled for 30years.
