The Ghana Education Service (GES) will on Friday announce government approved fees for all junior and senior high schools.
Public Affairs Director of the GES, Rev. Jonathan Betteh told Onua FM Tuesday that the GES is currently working on the fees for the 2016/2017 academic year, which begins from September 8.
The GES announced September 8 as the reopening date for all senior high schools across the country while all junior high school students are also to report to their various schools for the next academic term on September 13.

The announcement has since troubled some parents and guardians because they are yet to know how much they will be required to pay as school fees for their wards.
But Rev. Betteh has asked parents and guardians to remain calm, saying “the school fees will come out before the re-opening. By the close of this week it will be out”.
He told host of FM’s Yen Sempa, Bright Asempa, that the GES would deal with heads of the various schools who charge exorbitant fees.
