Ghanaian rapper, Pappy Kojo has hinted that he will not return to Ghana after his pleas to government to bring him home from Italy because of the coronavirus went unanswered.
According to Pappy Kojo, he is now getting used to life in Italy.
In a post on Twitter he wrote: “All those times I cried Ghana ignored me, I’m getting used to the lifestyle in Italy now, I sleep with my kicks on, I drink milk every morning and also doing checkups. I’m not coming back I’m sorry.”
Two months ago, Pappy Kojo pleaded with government to bring him home because he was afraid of how coronavirus was killing people in Italy, which is one of the countries hard hit by the viral disease.
The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture replied that that was not possible and the rapper has been stranded in the country since borders are closed.
A number of Ghanaian musicians including rappers Sarkodie and D Black are stranded abroad. It can be recalled that Sarkodie recently appealed to government to open the airports for at least two days for Ghanaian citizens abroad to return.
