Ghana’s biggest online educational platform hits Accra

Online education

Barely two weeks after its introduction into the market, providers of the ‘Smart Studykit’ Ghana’s biggest online educational platform, Africa World View Limited has hit the street with  passion and drive to raise awareness and serve the public on the importance of the product  with the aim of meeting  the educational needs of every Ghanaian.

Currently Smart Studykit sales team can be spotted at the Airport branch of the UT Bank engaging the public with either free registration onto the platform, selling scratch cards or offering education on the uses and benefits of the product in order to promote it.

According to Chief Operating Officer of Africa World View Ltd, Kojo Impraim, the move is geared towards creating more awareness and visibility on the product to the public for that matter both remedial and regular students to see its importance so they can buy the scratch card and learn.

Explaining the benefits of the product, Mr Impraim said, “Smart Studykit is making learning much easier, much more convenient, interactive and also participatory. The area where teachers once again determine the learning pace for student, for us we think it must be reached significantly if not eliminated because students should be the one to determine the learning pace”.

“Apart from offering students the opportunity and flexibility to learn and cover the syllabus (Ghana Education Service and West African Examination Council syllabus), it also affords remedial students the access to learn and practise solved past questions from 2006-2015 (both Paper 1 & 2) of English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science to be able to pass their exams with flying colours.”

Mr. Kojo Impraim strongly believes despite its enormous benefits at stake for both students and teachers, the platform has the capability to end sexual harassment on part of “unscrupulous private tutors taking undue advantage of female students in the name of teaching”, adding it equally has the tendency to deter children from watching pornographic materials on the internet by keeping them busy always thereby contributing to reducing examination malpractice.

The Smart Studykit sales team will later be moving across all of the 16 branches of the UT Bank in Accra and Tema.

“We will be covering all the 16 branches of UT Bank in Accra and Tema before moving to Cape Coast, Takoradi, Kumasi, Koforidua, Ho, and Tarkwa including other branches in the whole Ghana and we will thereafter move to Goil fuel stations, Ghana Post to gain more visibility and increase awareness on the Smart Studykit platform,” said Natalie Ansah, Business Development Manager of Africa World View Ltd.

The product which was launched on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 during the Mobex 2016 ICT Expo event held at the Accra International Conference Centre comes with variety of unique features including user-friendliness, interactive learning, paperless classroom, exercises and quizzes, self-centered and independent tuition and can be tapped into with free registration online with the lowest subscription fee of GH₵ 3.00.
