GHPL: All Stars, Hearts held goalless at home; Dwarfs, Bechem record 2-0 wins

Hearts of Oak move to 3rd on the log

Hearts of Oak are yet to lose a game this season

Ghana Premier League leaders Wa All Stars could not break the deadlock at home as champions Ashanti Gold managed to hold them down in Match Day 18 of the 2015/2016 season.

Black Stars goalkeeper Fatau Dauda was the difference between the Miners and the homesters, clinching a point for them away from home.

The goalless drawn game at the Wa Park still keeps the Upper West Region side on top of the Ghana Premier League. The result also lifts the champions above the drop zone.

Third-placed Hearts of Oak also suffered the same fate as All Stars after Aduana Stars held them to a goalless drawn game at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Ebusua Dwarfs and Bechem United were the biggest home winners after recording 2-0 wins over Sekondi Hasaacas and Berekum Chelsea respectively.

For the mysterious club, Christopher Bonney converted twice from the spot to hand them the vital win.

Techiman City were lone goal winners over WAFA while Medeama SC came from a goal down to beat Dreams FC 2-1 at the Tarkwa T & A Park.

On Saturday, Asante Kotoko shared the spoils with Inter Allies after their game ended 1-1.
