Accra Great Olympics have managed a return to the elite league after just one season out.
Great Olympics, arguably the club with the most accolades in Ghana, secured qualification from Zone 3 after a 2-1 win over Mighty Jets on Sunday.
With a game to spare, Oly made it back to the Ghana Premier League ahead of Okyeman Planners.
The club is currently coached by former Black Stars player Godwin Attram.
In its squad are experienced players such as defender Dan Quaye and Richard Kingson.
“Dan Quaye has been so sensational in the [Division One] League,” Attram told journalists.
“For me, I vote him as the best player of the League.”
Olympics join Elmina Sharks as the entrants for the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League with Zone 1’s representative yet to be determined.
