Media personality, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum recently addressed concerns regarding the delay in announcing the outcome of her Guinness World Records attempt for the longest singing marathon. Despite singing for 5 days, the results were only revealed after a specific inquiry. Some Ghanaians speculate she withheld results due to disqualification, but Afua explained that she initially couldn’t access the results while preparing for an event and faced login issues later.
In a recent interview with Mercury Quaye on Hitz FM, Afua tried to log in to show what she meant. She added, “Anybody who has an account with Guinness World Records will attest to the fact that when you send them a message, they’ll tell you it’ll take not less than 4 days to respond, and that confirms the day we even paid the priority. We paid on the 25th of January, and they responded on the 1st of February.
“We were coming right now, and they responded that they can’t find my email in the system, so I’ve added my password to it and resent it to them.”
