Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has clinched a one-year loan deal with United Arab Emirates side Al Ahli.
This comes after a move to England broke down. Gyan ostensibly failed medicals with Championship side Reading.
His loan move to Al Ahli means the highest goal-scoring Black Star player will return to the Gulf nation, having previously played for Al Ain.
Gyan will, however, wear the No. 90 jersey as a Knight.
He has expressed happiness with the new move, which was arranged after he failed to get enough playing time with China’s Shanghai SIPG.
