Jessica Ani, the lady who gained viral attention for her sensual dance with Omay Lay at his February 20 concert in the UK, has now shared the second part of her perspective.
She previously apologized to her boyfriend in part one, clarified that she purchased the concert tickets herself, and dispelled rumors about her name being ‘Fafa.’
In the latest update, Jessica urges everyone to move on, emphasizing that she has moved past the incident and suggests focusing on more significant matters in life. She expresses no remorse to the public, stating that her only apology is owed to her boyfriend. Despite online assumptions, she reveals ongoing communication with her boyfriend and asserts that they have reconciled.
“I’m not sorry to you guys. The only person that I owe an apology to is him. I don’t owe you guys nothing. Someone said ‘apology not accepted,’ sorry, who said I’m sorry to you?”
“I think you guys need to move on because this is getting too much. I’m actually convinced that there has to be more important things going on in the world right now, there’s war. Why is this global news? I don’t get it. I feel like everyone needs to move on and heal because this can’t go on for any longer. It’s getting boring. I’m even bored myself. Every time I open TikTok I’m seeing myself.”
Jessica addresses the hate comments she’s received and highlights the irony of online discussions about mental health while engaging in online bullying.
She also denies kissing Omay Lay during their dance, attributing any perceived intimacy to shadows.
“Another thing I wannu say, me and Omah Lay never kissed. Why would Omah Lay kiss his fan on stage? Like he’s not mad. I don’t think he’s mad. You can clearly see my video me and Omah Lay weren’t kissing. Obviously the shadow is gonna make it look like we did, but we didn’t.”
“I just hope everybody heals from the situation because I have. I hope everybody wakes up in the morning and they think about what to do with their own life.”
However, she has since deleted the posts, including the videos and another post where she expressed concerns about her life being threatened, following the incident and the subsequent backlash.
