Ghanaian producer and actress Lydia Forson has said she is glad to look gorgeous on the red carpet at the just ended 2017 African Movie Academy Awards held at the Eko Hotels and Suites.
According to the actress, she is not worried about her lose at the 13th edition of the awards but grateful to be nominated at such platform.
She added that she is honoured to be among the outstanding film makers group from around the globe and that alone is an achievement which needs to be celebrated.
In a post on her Instagram page, she confidently wrote, “didn’t win, but sure did slay..”.
Her film Keteke which was nominated in the Best Comedy and Costume Design categories at the awards lost out in both categories.
Lydia Forson won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a leading role in 2010.
