Ghanaian gospel musician, Cwesi Oteng has revealed that he regretted his action of campaigning for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Nana Akufo-Addo during the 2016 elections.
He made this disclosure when speaking with Gifty Osei on Aben Wo Ha cooking show on Onua TV.
“After making that endorsement I went down. It was too bad for my business,” he said.
“I did what I did because it’s everybody’s civil right to have a political choice so I did it from that perspective,” Oteng explained why he decided to campaign for the party.
He further stated that he loved President Akufo-Addo’s character, passion and love to serve the country.
The ‘God Dey Bless Me’ composer revealed that he wasn’t given anything and he didn’t even expect to be given something for campaigning for the NPP.
