Radio and TV personality Nana Yaa Brefo has hinted that she might go back to Despite Media after leaving the Multimedia Group Limited.
She disclosed this on Neat FM’s Entertainment GH with Ola Michael on Wednesday.
Nana Yaa Brefo announced her resignation from Multimedia some days ago and there has been speculation that it had to do with the fallout from her interview with actress Nana Ama McBrown after Bishop Bernard Nyarko’s death.
This morning on Neat FM, Nana Yaa Brefo said Despite Media has always been home, revealing that she worked with Despite Media for eight-and-a-half years before joining Multimedia.
According to her, she has never regretted leaving Multimedia but her bosses made her feel bad after resigning.
“When I take decisions I’m very sure of, I don’t go where they will change my mind and I think this was the right opportunity to bid farewell to them after 10 years,” she said.
Nana Yaa Brefo claimed her fans were urging her to return to TV, and some politicians were even searching for a job on her behalf.
“You see my fans have been asking me to get back on TV; some even ask when they will see me again on Adom TV. Sometimes I get tired and tell them I have heard and I will go back.
“And then people have been searching for jobs for me including politicians, and they think the best place to be is Despite Media because Despite Media is Multimedia’s competitor,” she added.
When asked by the host Ola Michael to if she’ll return to Despite Media she said she doesn’t know.
