Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei has expressed concern about the National Democratic Congress (NDC) maintaining former President John Dramani Mahama as flagbearer.
He said it’s a big insult to Ghanaians for the NDC to let John Mahama be the presidential candidate in the December 7th elections.
He made this statement in an interview with Zionfelix monitored by KwasiAboagyeLive.com.
The popular actor said he couldn’t understand why ex-President Mahama was leading the NDC again when he had already served one term.
He disclosed that he would have supported any other person chosen from the party.
According to Prince David Osei, there must have been a leadership problem in the NDC which made it difficult to get anyone else to represent them.
He noted that former President Mahama should’ve given the mantle to another person and given him or her his blessing.

He indicated that since the former President was actively involved in the eight years of the NDC’s rule, he deserved to step aside for someone else to take the baton.
“Is there no better person in the National Democratic Congress apart from him?” he queried.
