Supervisor’s remark

Kwasi is described by his assignment editor Thomas Adotei Pappoe as a ‘weird’ person and weird in the sense that “he’s not your usual guy but still someone you can hold a conversation with”.

All he does is work, work and work, Thomas Adotei Pappoe says.

“Kwasi is noted for always carrying a pen and a paper with him and keeps walking away when he’s being spoken to because work is calling.”

Kwasi is known to be very quiet and hardly complains about anything he is asked to do.

He left TV3 to Multi TV but because of the better conducive working environment “home”, he reapplied and joined the station again.

He has a good institutional memory and can recall dates easily and also stories that have been done in the past.

One of his remarkable feats is his ability to get his production done regardless of the number of people he has with him.

Views from colleagues

He is a team player and has a good command for production, says a colleague.

Another said: “He’s resourceful, calm and is able to relate with people from diverse backgrounds. He’s able to take his assigned responsibilities with little or minimum supervision.

“He is a hardworking man and relates well with his colleagues. He’s punctual and very dedicated and does everything you ask him to do. One thing I like about him is his ability to do his production alone without any help from his colleagues.”

Kwasi’s remarks

Kwasi expressed gratitude to his colleagues for the honour done him.

“I’m also grateful for their support and teamwork from the newsroom. I would continue working with them to take the team to another level.”

Asked what keeps him going, Kwasi said: “I love country music because it’s inspirational and helps motivate me in everything I do at work.”
