Hiplife artiste, Sidney Oppong Ofori better known as Barima Sidney has revealed the threats he has received since he released his song “Papa No” song.
In an exclusive interview with Dr. Ray on KwasiAboagyeLive.com, Barima Sidney disclosed that someone actually sent him a voice note threatening to paralyze him for releasing that song.
He added that the same person told him he will fall sick and go through a lot of pains after becoming paralyzed.
Sidney said apart from that he has received so many other threats after releasing the song.
Touching on why he couldn’t release the video of the song on Thursday as scheduled, Sidney indicated that a court injunction has been placed on the video.
According to him, the plaintiff claims since we’re in election year, the song, which has already gone viral will dent the image of ex-President John Dramani Mahama.
The “Obiaa Nye Obiaa” composer asserted that his inability to release the music video has left him frustrated because the video is not related to former President Mahama in anyway.
