Joe Mettle, Bro Sammy to headline Capital Bank Worship Night

Award winning Ghanaian gospel singer cum songwriter, Joe Mettle, and local gospel sensation, Brother Sammy, are set to headline Capital Bank’s Worship Night on July 1.

The two will join a host of other leading choirs in the country to treat hundreds of patrons to great, inspirational and soul-touching worship and tunes at the ICGC Calvary Temple at Sakumono.

The event, which comes off at 4:00pm, is a partnership between Capital Bank Ghana and the ICGC Calvary Temple.
Ministering choirs will be the Sword of Gibeon and Beautiful Melodeons from I.C.G.C Calvary Temple, the melodious Chosen Vessels Choir from University of Ghana and the dazzling Fragrance Choir from Capital Bank Ghana.

Rev. Fitzgerald Odonkor, C.E.O of Capital Bank will deliver the opening address with Rev. Dr. Anthony Cudjoe, Snr. Pastor, I.C.G.C Calvary Temple- Sakumono delivering a short exhortation.

Worship night is an annual event organized mid-year by Capital Bank Ghana to thank Jehovah God for seeing the bank through the first half of the year to seek His blessing for the next half of the year. The event is free and open to the public and it’s an opportunity for the bank to worship with customers and the general public.

Commenting on the theme, CEO of Capital Bank, Rev. Fitzgerald Odonkor stated that the focus is to offer unconditional worship to Jehovah God and to re-emphasize the bank’s faith in God and also show appreciation for his abundant blessings.

According to Rev Odonkor, the company’s cardinal value is God-Centredness and as such the company believes that it’s important to promote this value through events such as the Worship Night. “The most important value and foundation of our institution is God. We believe that our phenomenal growth has basically been driven by our faith in God,” he added.
