Nigerian musician, Joeboy, recently shared his aspirations during a conversation on the Afrobeats Intelligence Podcast with Joey Akan.
Joeboy aspires to be as successful as big names like Don Jazzy and Olamide in the music world. He thinks they are not only great at what they do but also awesome for helping other artists get ahead in the music game.
Known for hits like ‘Sip (Alcohol),’ Joeboy revealed his enthusiasm for the future, especially after parting ways with Mr Eazi’s Empawa and launching his own record label, Young Legend.
Emphasizing his vision beyond financial gains, he stated, “I am so super excited about what is to come because one thing I always used to say to my friends then is that I want to be a combination of Don Jazzy and Olamide. Because it’s one thing to come into the game and create your own wave, and then help others and facilitate a lot more waves.
Adding depth to his perspective, Joeboy remarked, “It’s not even about the money, it’s about the fact that I can say I helped people,” Joeboy said
