Broadcast journalist Kevin Taylor has taken a swipe at rapper Sarkodie for not using his popularity to keep the government on its toes.
According to him, Sarkodie is a hypocrite who is trying to act smarter and more sensible than everyone.
In a video posted on social media, Kevin Taylor asked Sarkodie to use his talent and popularity to get President Akufo-Addo to open the borders for Ghanaians stranded abroad to come home since he had ignored them.
He mentioned that between 2015 and 2016, Sarkodie did a song to lambast the then ruling NDC for not performing well but now that things are bad under the ruling government, he is quiet.
He claimed that when he was at Radio Ecstasy in Kumasi, Sarkodie begged him and other DJs to promote his songs.
Kevin Taylor said some of the musicians in Ghana travel abroad to perform at high schools and basketball courts and later come back to tell Ghanaians they went on tour.
