‘Kokromoti’ takes off on Onua FM

The first edition of Kokromoti on Onua 95.1 FM has taken off.

The programme began on Monday, July 4 seeks to keep listeners of Onua FM abreast with issues relating to the 2016 elections.

It will be hosted by Bright Kwesi Asempa.

The first edition of Kokromoti saw several aspiring Members of Parliament and incumbents sharing their thoughts on issues relating to their constituencies as well as the nation.

The 22-year-old Francisca Oteng Mensah, who pulled the biggest upset in Ghana’s political history by soundly beating an incumbent MP in the Kwabre East Constituency, was the first guest on the show.

The law student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology told the host of Kokromoti about her vision to go to Parliament to bring development to the constituency.

Another new entrant Ernest Norgbey of Ashaiman Constituency who also caused an upset by beating the Deputy Majority Leader, was also on Kokromoti on the first edition.

He also had the opportunity to tell the listeners of Onua FM his transformational agenda for the Ashaiman Constituency.

The first edition of Kokromoti wound up with a heated debate between incumbent National democratic Congress MP for Juaboso Constituency Kwabena Mintah Akandoh and his major contender Madam Martha Manu of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
