The Board of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has summoned the club’s coach to explain the circumstances leading to the club’s historic defeat to Ebusua Dwarfs last Wednesday.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko was thrashed 4 goals to one by Ebusua Dwarfs at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast in week 20 of the Ghana Premier League. The defeat is said to be the biggest of the club this season

The historic loss appeared to have surprised the Board members of the Porcupine Warriors who have called an emergency meeting with the technical team of the club on Friday to understand what might have gone wrong with the team, TV3’s Williams Evans Nkum has reported.

“The coach is being summoned by the board to explain the loss,” Evans reported, quoting sources close to the Board.

The said emergency meeting is also to discuss Kotoko’s preparation ahead of their next match against arch rival Accra Hearts of Oak.
