Mahama gets Ivorian citizenship

President John Dramani Mahama will be in Abidjan, Côte D’Ivoire, today for an Official visit at the invitation of President Alasanne Ouattara.

Accompanied by his wife, Lordina, and a high powered government delegation, President Mahama will hold talks with his Ivorian counterpart, and will also be decorated with Côte D’Ivoire’s highest national award.

The President will also receive the key to Abidjan and an honorary citizenship of Côte D’Ivoire.

Relations between Ghana and its western neighbour have seen tremendous improvement under the leadership of Presidents Mahama and Ouattara.

President Mahama will return to Accra on Thursday.
