President John Dramani Mahama is in Kigali, Rwanda, for the 27th Ordinary Session of the African Union Assembly of Heads of State and Government.
President Mahama on Saturday, July 16 hosted a special working session for colleague Heads of State on the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals within the framework of the African Union’s Agenda 2063.
He did this in his capacity as Co-Chair of the UN Eminent Persons on SDGs.
The 27th Session will also discuss financing of the African Union.
President Mahama is accompanied by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hanna S. Tetteh and other state officials.
He is expected home on Monday.
