President John Dramani Mahama on Sunday, October 16 began a five-day campaign tour of the Volta Region.
The tour kicked off in Krachi, where the president held three different mini-rallies – precisely in the Krachi West, Krachi Nchumuru and Krachi East constituencies.
Two other rallies of similar degree were held in Biakoye and Kpando.
Between Monday and Tuesday, mini-rallies are scheduled to be held in Nkwanta South, Nkwanta North, Akan, Jasikan, Hohoe, South Dayi, North Dayi, Afadjato South and Kadjebi constituencies.
It will continue on Wednesday, a release from the regional camp notes, but end up with a courtesy call on the clergy in Ho, the regional capital.
The final day will see President Mahama meeting chiefs and queen mothers in the southern zone of the Region before a similar meeting with market women and drivers’ unions at Agbozume.
The tour will be capped with a zonal rally involving nine constituencies at Denu in the Ketu South Constituency.
