Nana Ama Mcbrown, a renowned Ghanaian actress, has finally addressed the persistent rumours that her spouse, Maxwell Mensah, subjected her to domestic violence.
These rumours have been circulating for some time, and they recently resurfaced after a viral audio recording purportedly featuring a male voice asserting that the actress sustained an arm injury due to physical abuse.
However, in response to the widespread audio and numerous rumours, Nana Ama McBrown has asserted unequivocally that her spouse does not mistreat her, thereby refuting the abuse allegations.
Mcbrown stated unequivocally on the Sunday edition of her Onua Showtime, that she is not the type of woman whose spouse will beat her.
In her words;
“Do I appear to be a woman whose spouse will beat her? Or do you believe that maltreatment could occur in my home? “I am not a woman who will tolerate being beaten by her husband,”
During a discussion centred on the spread of bogus news by bloggers, Nana Ama McBrown discussed the persistent dissemination of a false story about her husband’s alleged abuse.
She stated that the false narrative has had such an enduring effect that even her mother felt compelled to reach out to her, inquiring whether she had indeed been subjected to violence.
“My mother once asked me if my spouse had actually beaten me after hearing the rumour online”.
She eloquently expressed.
