‘Monkey dey work, baboon dey chop’: George Andah calls for Akua Donkor’s prosecution

Akua Donkor Petition

Parliamentary hopeful, George Andah wants legal action taken against leader of the Ghana Freedom Party Madam Akua Donkor for bringing the name of President Mahama into disrepute.

Madam Akua Donkor has admitted lying about the two Pajero vehicles and a house she benefited from President Mahama. According to her, she lied to spite the Progressive People’s Party flagbearer, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom.

Speaking to 3news.com, the former Chief Marketing Officer of MTN challenged the security agencies to invite Madam Akua Donkor over the issue.

“We are all Ghanaians and President Mahama is our President so if somebody that is close to him comes to say that she has received these items from the presidency, then we should all be concerned.

“We are in a situation where they are not able to provide money for secondary schools to reopen, where psychiatric hospitals not being able to admit new patients and where our youths are not getting jobs to do and there seems to be a situation where one person who is not playing a significant role in government is a beneficiary of two vehicles and a house”.

Mr. Andah said he would have been extremely disappointed if he found himself on the other side of the coin as an NDC foot soldier, noting that it would have reminded him of the popular cliché ‘Monkey dey work, Baboon dey chop’.

“When the heat was turned on Akua Donkor, in a very comical and weak response, she comes to say she was telling a lie, so assuming she was telling lies, then let us be put her to shame”, he said, adding “She has to face the law for bringing the name of the President into disrepute and I think that is the most sensible thing to do”.
