The family of the beloved Nigerian actor, Mr. Ibu, has revealed that his funeral is scheduled for June 28th in his native town of Amuri, Enugu State.
The five-day funeral proceedings will begin with a march on June 25th, followed by a candlelight procession and live entertainment night on June 26th. On June 27th, there will be a wake-keeping ceremony, with the burial and funeral service scheduled for June 28th, followed by a thanksgiving service on June 30th.
The late Mr. Ibu, who departed on March 2nd at 62, was renowned for his comedic roles in more than 200 films, among them “Mr. Ibu in London” and “Police Recruit.” The Okafor family extends an invitation to friends, well-wishers, and the public to celebrate the cherished legacy of their beloved icon.
