US-based Ghanaian music producer, Kwame Mickey has threatened to sue Dancehall artiste Livingston Este Satekla popularly known as Stonebwoy.
In a video sighted by KwasiAboagyeLive.com, Kwame Mickey claims Stonebwoy failed to contact him before using some lyrics of the late Highlife nusician Dr. Paa Bobo in his song ‘Sobolo’.
According to Kwame Mickey, fans and family members of Stonebwoy should let him know that he is ready to drag him to court.
“If you are his fan, family member or friend tell him, I will not let him go scot free. I, Kwame Mickey, say that he should be ready; I will send him to court,” he said.
“Everyone can use the term Sobolo but as soon as you pick a word from somebody’s intellectual property even after giving him credit or not, you have to pay what is due that person,” he added.
Kwame Mickey, who is the brother of musician Kaakyire Kwame Appiah said he will prove to Stonebwoy that he was in the music industry long before he came.
He expressed his love for Stonebwoy and indicated that the dancehall artiste called to let him know he will do the necessary thing but he had waited for long and nothing seemed to be happening.
