Veteran Ghanaian Highlife Musician, Ackah Blay has revealed how unenthused his father was when he decided to do music.
The ‘Kaa Bu Ame’ composer muse over his father’s report at the police station which got him arrested all because he was passionate to take music as a career.
He narrated his ordeal in an interview with Arnold Mensah Elavanyo on Zylonfon FM.
While he was looking for ways to make his talent known, his father, who was an Assistant Director at Ghana Education Service (GES) wished to see him in school, and not the other way.
After he ran away from school to play music, Mr Blay said his father involved the police to teach him a lesson.
According to him, his father felt disgrace about the decision he took hence such an action.
When asked if he was stubborn when growing up, he answered no, rather, he wanted to follow his passion for music.
