Wife of New Patriotic Party flagbearer, Rebecca Akufo-Addo has mounted a strong defence of her husband’s promises prior to the December 7 polls.
Some of the key policy ideas outlined by Nana Akufo-Addo have generated mixed reactions with some describing them as overly ambitious. They include the one village one dam promise and his intention to build a factory in every district.
Mrs. Akufo-Addo made this pronouncement during a church service at the Makers House Chapel International at Dome Kwabenya where she urged electorates to have faith in the three-time presidential candidate.
“I am merely the wife of a politician and we all know we are in an election period and I would like to say and I hope you don’t mind knowing I shouldn’t be doing politics in church but there has to be a change this year.
“A change for a better governance of our country and I can promise you that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will be a good leader”.
She described her husband as a man with vision who will deliver on all the promises he has been making adding that the electorates should put their trust in him and vote him into power on December 7.
“I am convinced like the pastor says, that he will be the next president of Ghana and you can trust the man because I am the one next to him so put your trust in him and give him your vote on December 7 and I bet he wouldn’t let you down”.
