Ghanaian reggae/dancehall artiste, Ras Kuuku has reacted to false reports about his VGMA plaque being stolen.
Reports were rife about the missing plaque but the ‘Mpaebo’ composer has denied losing it.
The 2020 VGMA Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year told Halifax Ansah-Addo on Okay FM that he still has his plaque in his armpit.
Answering a question on why he is touring with the plaque, Kuuku said his award is for the ghetto. He added that Kuami Eugene’s award was a corporate one and that is the reason why he cannot emulate his action.
Despite the criticism about his tour, the musician said he will continue.
Ras Kuuku also challenged those who think the award belongs to them to take it from him.
