The launch of the party’s manifesto has generated controversy as opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) accuse the NDC of waiting to pounce on the content of its manifesto.

The NPP itself is yet to launch its. It originally scheduled August 4 to launch it but postponed it to September.

The absence of the party’s manifesto is said to be the reason why leader Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been unable to appear at the Evening Encounter of the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA).
