The 1994 batch of students of Bolgatanga Senior High School (BOSS) has held a reunion in Accra with a call on past students to support their alma mater.
The reunion, which had over 30 members in attendance, was used to raise funds for the development of their school and for the welfare of members in times of need.
Mr. Jacob Kolog, acting President of the group, asked members to consider the good things their school did for them and try to pay back in cash and kind.
“But for BOSS and its teachers, we wouldn’t have been here today as directors and staff of renowned organisations. It is now time for us to pay back to BOSS”, he stated.
Mr. Kanzoni Awaala Donald, who is the group’s organiser and Northern Regional Public Relations Officer of Ghana Education Service, urged members to pool their resources together to support the delivery of quality education to students.
“Quality education delivery is a collective duty of all stakeholders, including those of us gathered here now. We must strive to be counted if BOSS is to be listed among schools with good teachers, classrooms, libraries, computer laboratories and others”, he urged.
