Musician and advocate, Deborah Owusu-Bonsu, also known as Sister Derby, has asserted that MP for Ningo Prampram, Samuel Nartey George, is the catalyst behind the rising popularity of LGBTQ in Ghana.
This statement comes in response to accusations from some Ghanaians who implicated her in promoting LGBTQ activities.
Sharing her perspective on X app, Sister Derby emphasized that Sam George prioritized the anti-LGBTQ bill as his primary and exclusive developmental project. This choice prompted her to delve deeper into understanding the LGBTQ community.
“This man right here made LGBTQ very popular in Ghana. So you guys should stop saying that someone else is pushing anything down your throats. He chose LGBTQ as his main and only project for his constituency. I read and learnt more about the letters when he decided to make this a hate bill,”she expressed in a post on X.
