Hiplife artiste, Kwaw Kese, confidently positioned himself as the “King of Kings” in Ghanaian music.
During an exclusive interview on Joy Prime’s Prime Morning, he asserted that even artists like Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and all other artistes claiming to be Kings look up to him, emphasizing his unique influence in the industry.
Kwaw Kese, having being in the industry for two decades, believes he has pioneered a distinctive space in the Ghanaian music scene, consistently pushing boundaries since his early days.
In his own words, “When it comes to Ghana music, I’m the King of Kings. It’s been 20 years, and my song is still number one. Which king again? We have the king of the dancehall, the king Sark, and all the other kings, but who is the king of all these people? I am the king. They all look up to me.”
Indicating his extensive experience and influence, he expressed that he has already accomplished and lived through whatever the current generation of artists is currently doing.
Responding to assumptions about his personal life, especially regarding supposed cannabis use, Kwaw Kese confidently proclaimed himself as “a beautiful madman” who is both affluent and responsible.
“I’m driving a nice car and dressing nice. I don’t eat from the gutters, my kids go to better schools, and I take care of my family,”he emphasized.
However, the famous rapper noted that he has stopped smoking, notwithstanding his previous habit, due to his current age and for health purposes.
