Popular Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has reacted to the altercation that ensued between Dancehall act Stonebwoy and his manager Angelo aka Angel.
During the recording of Sarkodie’s Black Love Virtual Concert which happened on Monday 10 August 2020, a misunderstanding took place between Stonebwoy and Angel which made the former punched the latter leaving him injured.
Reacting to the issue, Sarkodie confirmed the alleged assault in an audio when addressing the issues that happened at the event.
Sarkodie disclosed that he was unhappy about the incident that occurred during the recording of the Black Love Concert.
He condemned the act and advised they would all live in harmony to ensure the growth of the industry.
“Everyone has the right to be mad or angry but no one has the right to assault. Situations like what happened that led to the unfortunate incident is not new but that’s not to say it’s okay.
“What got me upset was the fact that he chose to go physical with the situation. I don’t think my brother came from wherever he came from to destroy my show. We’ve had great relationships over the years and not necessarily because he is the best person I’ve come across,” part of the statement read.
The Sarkcess music boss used the opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the Black Love Concert.
