Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the running mate to the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo, on Thursday September 8, 2016 delivered a lecture on the topic: STATE OF THE GHANAIAN ECONOMY – A Foundation of Concrete or Straw.
The controversial public lecture attracted varied reactions.
After pointing out the shortfalls in the Mahama-led adminstration, Dr, Bawumia asked, “If Ghana was a company and you were a shareholder, will you retain the manager or the team that has such an abysmal record or will you try and appoint a credible, incorruptible and competent team with a track record to manage the company and move the company forward? ”
