Another day, another Spotify record for the 33-year-old music superstar, Taylor Swift.
Taylor Swift became the first female artist in history to reach 100 million monthly listeners on the streaming platform Tuesday (August 29).
Taylor is no stranger to breaking Spotify records, as the “Cruel Summer” singer earned the biggest streaming day for any artist in 2023 on March 19 with 67 million streams.
The Weeknd currently stands as the artist with the most monthly listeners on Spotify with over 110 million.
Taylor is in the midst of her massively popular “Eras Tour,” which is projected to make over $1 billion in ticket sales.
Having released her 10th studio album, Midnights, in October 2022, Taylor recently put out her third re-recorded album, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), on July 7, which also became Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day in 2023.
At the final show of the first leg the tour’s first leg in Los Angeles on August 9, Taylor thrilled fans by announcing that her next re-recording, 1989 (Taylor’s Version), will be released on October 27.
