Veteran highlife musician Rex Owusu Marfo well-known as Rex Omar has expressed his concern about those trolling Stonebwoy for not getting a nomination at the Grammy Awards.
According to him, no matter how hard Stonebwoy is working and because he wasn’t nominated for the Grammys, Ghanaians have not right to troll him.
Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Property FM in Cape Coast, Rex Omar said it’s ignorance and jealousy that’s making some people troll Stonebwoy.
“That’s what this country is and when these things happen as a human, we make the artiste become so discouraged and disappointed.
“If for nothing at all Stonebwoy has performed on a lot of international platforms and at the end of the day we will say Stonebwoy is the Ghanaian artiste.
“That is what people must understand that when the artiste becomes popular globally they are marketing the country,” he remarked
“So if you’re a Ghanaian and because of ignorance and jealousy you decide to troll Stonebwoy, then who are you trolling? You’re trolling yourself and the country”, he added
